Dr. Christophe DUPLAIS

Christophe DUPLAIS has studied at ESCOM (Chemistry Engineer School) and defended his Ph. D. made under the supervision of Gérard CAHIEZ in 2005.

Title of his thesis : “Preparation and use of functionalized aromatic organomanganese reagents. Iron- or manganese-catalyzed homocoupling reactions. Stereoselective preparation of vinylic Grignard reagents.”

He then joined the group of Pr. Bruce LIPSHUTZ in Santa Barbara (USA) as a post-doctoral fellow.

He is nowadays Chargé de Recherches (Senior Researcher) at CNRS in the EcoFoG laboratory.
