Alban Moyeux was born in La Bassée (France) in 1982.
He obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Université d’Artois in Lens in 2004 and his M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Cergy-Pontoise in 2005.
He then worked on iron- and cobalt-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions under the supervision of Professor Gérard Cahiez and was awarded his Ph.D. in November 2008.
Then, he joined the group of Professor Aloïs Fürstner as a post-doctoral fellow at the Max-Planck Institute in Mülheim (Germany) where he worked on a total synthesis project.
In 2009, he was nominated associate professor (Maître de conférences) at the University of Paris 13 and since 2013 he is associated with G. Cahiez in his research group in organometallic chemistry at IRCP (Research Institute in Chemistry at Chimie ParisTech, ENSCP).
